Northside Neighborhood House
Kalina O'Brien, MPA, currently serves as the Coffee Community Collective & Volunteer Director at Northside Neighborhood House, focusing on community stakeholder relationships and volunteer program management. Previously, Kalina held roles at Project Return Tennessee, including Fund Development Specialist and Program Services Coordinator, overseeing grant administration and providing wrap-around services to participants. Other experience includes Office Manager at the Kidney Foundation of the Greater Chattanooga Area, Miss Tennessee for the International Junior Miss Scholarship Program, Membership Coordinator for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and various positions in customer service and communications, including with Delta Air Lines, Walt Disney World, LSU AgCenter, and YP. Kalina holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Louisiana State University.

The mission of the NNH is to promote the independence of residents north of the river by providing a hand up through education and assistance. The Northside Neighborhood House has three programs to assist those living north of the river in Hamilton County, TN. The NNH serves our community through direct assistance, education, three thrift store locations, the Coffee Community Collective (in Soddy Daisy), and CommUNITY School programs.
