Lauren Shapiro is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently working at Northside Center For Child Development and The Shield Institute since June 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Field Work Level II OT Student at Isabella Geriatric Center and Sensory Freeway, as well as a Community Hab Worker at Hand in Hand Family Services, LTD., and an Assistant to the Special Services administrator at Stella K. Abraham High School. Lauren completed a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in 2016 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Queens College, obtained in 2013.
