Alex Shalhoub has extensive work experience in the medical field. In 2015, they began working as the Medical Director in the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Detroit Medical Center and NorthStar Anesthesia, P.A. Alex also served as the Vice Chair of the Huron Valley Sinai Hospital Physician Leadership Committee at Detroit Medical Center. Additionally, they were appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015.
Alex Shalhoub completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan in 1999. Alex then pursued a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Michigan State University. Alex attended Catholic Central High School until 1994. Later, they completed an Anesthesiology Residency from Wayne State University between 2004 and 2008, followed by a Pain Fellowship at the same university.
