Dave Wilson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of medical radioisotopes and pharmaceutical operations. Dave began their career in 1988 as a Nuclear Pharmacist and Manager at Syncor International, where they managed a high-volume nuclear pharmacy. Dave then joined Amersham in 1994 as a Nuclear Pharmacist, overseeing the compounding of radiopharmaceuticals and providing clinical information to healthcare professionals.
In 1996, Dave joined PETNET Solutions as the Director of PET Operations, where they directed the daily operations of multiple PET manufacturing centers and established new PET centers through collaborations between academic and commercial radiopharmacy operations. Dave continued in this role until 2004.
From 2005 to 2007, Dave worked at Columbia University Medical Center as the Director of PET Radiopharmacy. In this position, they managed a large radiopharmacy and radiochemistry research laboratory, providing support for both clinical and research programs.
In 2007, Dave joined Triad Isotopes as the Area Vice President for PET/SPECT Pharmacy Operations in the Southeast US. Dave was responsible for the overall operations of the PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing division and multiple radiopharmacies. Dave'sduties included budget planning, maintaining operating expenses, and managing relationships with key accounts, vendors, and trade organizations.
Since 2015, Dave has been working at NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC, starting as the Director of Manufacturing and Director of Isotope Processing Operations. Dave then became the Vice President of Operations before assuming their current position as the Vice President of Advanced Radioisotopes and Therapeutic Technologies in March 2021.
Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership and coordination skills, as well as experience in establishing partnerships and implementing joint ventures. Dave has a solid background in radiopharmacy operations and has been actively involved in the development and expansion of PET centers.
Dave Wilson obtained their Bachelor of Science (BASc) degree in Pharmacy from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, where they studied from 1982 to 1987. In 2013, they obtained certification as a Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist from the Board of Pharmacy Specialities. Additionally, in 2014, Dave became a Licensed Pharmacist after completing the necessary requirements set by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
