Dr. Frank Scholz

Dr. Frank Scholz has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry and management consulting. Dr. Frank is currently serving as the President & Chief Operating Officer at NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the same company from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC, Dr. Scholz worked at AlixPartners as a Managing Director from October 2019 to June 2021. Dr. Frank was responsible for providing strategic management consulting services.

Dr. Scholz also has a significant tenure at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where they held various senior executive roles. Dr. Frank served as the EVP, COO & Digital Innovation Officer from May 2018 to October 2019. Prior to that, they were the EVP of Global Operations and President, Specialty Generics from October 2016 to May 2018. Dr. Frank started their tenure at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as the SVP Global Operations from September 2013 to October 2016.

Furthermore, Dr. Scholz gained valuable experience at McKinsey and Company, where they worked as a Partner from 1996 to August 2013. Their expertise in management consulting contributed to the growth and success of the company.

Dr. Frank Scholz has a diverse educational background in the field of business management and economics. Dr. Frank completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Management from the University of Bielefeld, focusing on this field from 2002 to 2006. Before that, they obtained their M.B.A. degree from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, they earned a Masters degree in Economics from Leibniz Universität Hannover from 1992 to 1995.
