Josh Peterson-Droogh has a strong background in nuclear engineering and physics. Josh currently holds the position of Manager for the Nuclear Engineering & Physics Team at NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC, where they are focused on solving challenges in the field. Josh Peterson-Droogh has a strong educational background in engineering and data science. Josh earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Idaho State University in 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 2006. Josh then went on to earn a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011.

In 2016, Josh enrolled in Regis University to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Data Science, which they completed in 2020. Alongside their formal education, they also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Josh completed the "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" course offered by Coursera in August 2016. In September 2016, they obtained the "Big Data Foundations - Level 1" certification from IBM. In November 2016, they received a certificate for completing the "Fundamentals of Visualization with Tableau" course through Coursera. Additionally, in October 2019, they attained the "Visual Studio Code for Python Developers" certification from LinkedIn. Josh further expanded their skills with the "New Manager Foundations" certification from LinkedIn in September 2020. Josh'slatest certification is "Performance Management: Conducting Performance Reviews" from LinkedIn, obtained in September 2021.
