William Rodgers

William Rodgers has a diverse work experience in various project management and engineering roles. William is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at NuScale Power from May 2018 to June 2020, where they were responsible for developing and implementing international licensing strategies. William also managed the Vendor Design Review licensing process and worked on licensing and constructing the NuScale SMR for two upcoming projects.

Before that, William worked as a Project Manager - Senior Mechanical Engineer at Honeywell FM&T from October 2015 to May 2018. William managed different projects to meet federal contract requirements and led project teams during the integration of the Earned Value Management process. William also has experience in reorganizing projects and teams to ensure compliance with EVM requirements.

From August 2012 to October 2015, William worked at Burns & McDonnell as a Project Manager/Senior Mechanical Engineer. Their responsibilities included assessing job potential, project management, and project engineering for component design and plant integration projects at several nuclear utilities.

Prior to that, they were a Project Mechanical Engineer at Tacoma Power from July 2007 to August 2012. William performed project management and engineering duties for the development of a new small hydro facility and supported plant overhaul activities at the Mossyrock facility.

From June 1998 to July 2007, William worked as a Project Engineer at Transnuclear Inc. William was involved in managing lease equipment support schedules, implementing NUHOMS spent fuel transfer equipment, and providing project engineering services to various nuclear utilities across the US.

William's career began in the US Navy, where they served as a Machinist Mate, Nuclear from November 1987 to July 1993.

William Rodgers has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Rodgers has obtained several certifications. William holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Honeywell FM&T, obtained in October 2016. William is also a Professional Engineer, certified by the State of Washington in December 2010. Additionally, they have a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), obtained in January 2015.
