Michael Miller has held a number of roles since 2003. Michael began their career at Fortress Investment Group as the Head of Quantitative Risk Management from 2003 to 2008. Michael then moved to Tremblant Capital as the Chief Risk Officer from 2008 to 2013. In 2016, they became an Associate Adjunct Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York. Finally, they have been the Chief Executive Officer at Northstar Risk Corp. since 2013.
Michael Miller obtained a High School degree from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology between 1987 and 1991. Michael then went on to earn a B.A. in Economics & Business from The American University of Paris between 1993 and 1995. Finally, they completed an M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Oxford in 1999. In 2001, they obtained a Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
