Heather Knapp-Hoch is a Veterinary Surgeon at NorthStar VETS, a position held since September 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Instructor in Small Animal Surgery at Cornell University from July 2011 to August 2014, where responsibilities included leading the soft tissue surgery service and educating residents, interns, and students. Heather also worked as a Surgical Consultant for iFyber in 2013 and 2014, focusing on clinical research, and as a Research Assistant at Plumb Island in 2000-2001, contributing to vaccine development for Foot and Mouth Disease. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Washington State University (2002-2007) and a Bachelor's degree in General Biology from Southampton College (1997-2001).
