Kristin Britton

Kristin Britton is an experienced Avian and Exotics Veterinarian currently working at NorthStar VETS since February 2018, specializing in avian and exotic animal medicine, surgery, emergency, and preventative care. With a robust background that includes a part-time role at South Putnam Animal Hospital, as well as a residency at the veterinary center for birds and exotics, Kristin has gained extensive surgical, medical, and diagnostic experience across various exotic pets and wildlife species. Prior internships at prestigious institutions such as the University of Saskatchewan, Vancouver Aquarium, Wildlife Center of Virginia, and others have provided Kristin with diverse skill sets in veterinary care, rehabilitation, and mentorship. Kristin holds a DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed the clinical year at Kansas State University, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science from the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
