Eli Lauffenburger has worked for a variety of companies since 2011. Eli began as an Office Manager and Assistant Tutor for Chris C. Cook and Associates in 2011. From 2013-2014, they worked as an Intern Reservoir Engineer for BHP, where they utilized PROSPER and Decline Curve Analysis to propose an intervention campaign in the Zamzama gas field, Pakistan and prepared a presentation and proposal implemented in a Sep. 2014 intervention campaign. In 2015, they returned to BHP as an Intern Reservoir Engineer, where they worked alongside the Eagle Ford Subsurface Team on an independent project investigating the fluid behavior in unconventional reservoirs of South Texas. In 2016, they were promoted to Specialist Reservoir Engineer at BHP, where they organized and compiled input from multidisciplinary SME team to design a comprehensive reservoir evaluation tool and planned and led meetings with asset teams to gather analog data for the Complexity Index Tool. In 2018, they moved on to TitleMade as a Software Engineer. Eli then joined Sensorfield LLC in 2019, where they worked as both a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer. Eli also worked as a Coach for Software Engineering at Flatiron School in 2019. Most recently, they joined Northstar in 2021 as a Software Engineer.

Eli Lauffenburger graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering. Eli then went on to attend Flatiron School in 2019 to pursue a degree in Computer Software Engineering.
