Adam Abbott

Adam Abbott has worked for Northstrat Incorporated since 2016, first as a Junior Software Engineer, then as a Software Engineer and currently as a Full Stack Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for building a resource management tool, with backend services primarily in Java Spring Boot and frontend in Vue. Adam has also served as a principal developer on Northstrat's own iOS/Android application. Prior to this, Adam worked at Freedom Technology Solutions, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they were a member of a team developing and maintaining an enterprise alerting tool. Theirprimary responsibilities included UI development and bug fixes, as well as server-side implementations and infrastructure/dev-ops solutions. Before that, Adam worked for the United States Marine Corps from 1996-2016, where they held the roles of Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Analyst Forecaster and Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Observer.

Adam Abbott has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, obtained from 2012 to 2015.
