Brant Goings

Brant Goings is an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with a background in Technical Support, Network and Systems Engineering. Brant began their career in 2013 as a Network Engineer at Advanced Network Solutions in Sterling, VA. In 2017, they took on roles as a Technical Support Engineer at PSU Office of the President IT and a Network and Systems Engineer at WJH Consulting, Inc. In 2019, they were awarded a Cyber Security Scholar role at the United States Department of Defense, where they agreed to work for the U.S. Naval Supply for a year in exchange for full tuition coverage their senior year. Brant also held roles as a Network Security Engineer at MITRE and an Information Security Engineer at Naval Supply Systems Command Business Systems Center in 2020. Brant is currently employed as an Applied Cybersecurity Engineer at MITRE since 2021 and a Cyber Security Engineer at Northstrat Incorporated since 2022.

Brant Goings attended Penn State University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a degree in Cybersecurity with a field of study in Information Technology. Brant has also obtained three certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 in March 2021, Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) from Cisco in July 2018, and CCENT from Cisco in September 2015.
