Joe Tosh has worked in the engineering and military fields since 1996. Joe began their career as a Disbursing and Sales Officer on the USS CARON (DD 970) in the US Navy. In 1999, they became a Material Control Officer at HSL-40 in the US Navy, where they were responsible for parts and material support for thirteen SH-60B helicopters. In 2001, Joe began their engineering career at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Technical Manager/Lead Engineer, where they served as personnel manager for twelve members of the Missile Defense National Team and conducted extensive recruiting for the team. Joe then became a Technical Manager 3/Senior Principal Engineer - Systems and a Principal/Lead Engineer - Systems, where they led hardware design efforts for the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Photonics Mast Workstation program. In 2013, Joe joined Northstrat Incorporated as a Senior Systems Engineer/Project Lead and Systems Engineer.
Joe Tosh has a diverse educational background. Joe obtained a Master of Science in Technology Management from George Mason University - School of Business in 2008. From 1991 to 1995, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition, Joe Tosh has obtained several certifications, including Motivating and Engaging Employees from LinkedIn in June 2020, Delegating Tasks from LinkedIn in August 2019, Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner from Project Management Institute in August 2012, Project Management Professional from PMI in March 2012, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from Project Management Institute in August 2012, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in March 2012.
