Cathie Ritchie has extensive experience in municipal administration, currently serving as City Clerk for the City of Kawartha Lakes since November 2017 and as Manager of Legislative Services/Clerk for Northumberland County since September 2014. Prior roles include Director of Clerk's Services/Clerk for Lanark County from July 2005 to September 2013, where management of a Clerk Services Division was achieved, and advisory support was provided to Council and the Executive Management Team on legislative compliance. Cathie has also held positions such as Finance and Administration Coordinator at Lanark Network Associates from 2000 to 2004 and Administrator/Treasurer for the Township of Bathurst Burgess South Sherbrooke from 1998 to 2000. Earlier roles include Clerk-Treasurer & Tax Collector for the Township of Bathurst from 1989 to 1997. Cathie Ritchie holds a degree in Municipal Administration from St. Lawrence College, which was completed from 1987 to 1992.
