Alexander Streif

Alexander Streif has extensive experience in supply chain management and purchasing. Alexander is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Northvolt since April 2021. Prior to this, Alexander worked at McKinsey & Company from 2015 to 2021, where they held roles such as Senior Expert in Operations and Practice Expert in Purchasing & Supply Management. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Vice President of Category Management & Purchasing at VBH Holding AG. Alexander also worked at SIEMENS VAI Metals Technologies GmbH as the Head of Supply Chain Management from 2011 to 2013. Alexander started their career at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and held various positions including Director of Purchasing and Global Commodity Business Manager.

Alexander Streif attended the University of Mannheim from 1994 to 2000, where they received a degree in Business Administration with a focus on English/American Studies. Additionally, they studied at Swansea University in 1997-1998 to further their education in Business Administration.
