Yazan Sakaji

Yazan Sakaji is an experienced professional in contract management and project controls, currently serving as Director of Contract Management at Northvolt since June 2020. Prior roles at Northvolt include Sr. Contracts Manager and Commercial Optimization and Contracts Manager. Before Northvolt, Yazan held the position of Sr. Contracts Manager for the CARPE Project at Vattenfall, where responsibilities encompassed contract management and project control during public tendering and execution phases for a biomass-based heat plant. Previous experience includes serving as Sr. Contracts & Project Controls Manager at Fortum, Consultant Specialist at MTR Tech AB, and Sr. Project Control Engineer at Consolidated Contractors International Company, contributing to significant mega projects in the energy sector. Yazan began the career as a Project Engineer at Consulting Engineering Center, focusing on civil engineering solutions in various countries. Yazan holds a Master’s degree in Project Management & Operational Development from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
