Kilian Menzl

Kilian Menzl is a highly experienced professional in the field of battery system design and thermal management, currently serving as Manager of System Performance and Integration at Northvolt since March 2020, where responsibilities include managing a team focused on battery simulations, thermal system design, and system integration. Previously, Kilian held roles at Northvolt as Manager of Battery Thermal Design and Thermal Design Engineer, contributing to the development and optimization of thermal management solutions for lithium-ion battery systems. Prior to Northvolt, Kilian worked at Kreisel Electric as a Battery Thermal Engineer and at CellCube as a Product Development Engineer, specializing in energy storage systems. An accomplished athlete, Kilian was a member of the Austrian National Rowing Team, achieving national championship titles and competing in international events. Kilian holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Management from Technische Universität Wien and completed an exchange program at Aalto University.
