An, Yuehuei, MD, serves as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine since July 2016, with promotion to Clinical Associate Professor in July 2018. In addition to this role, An holds positions as an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Hand Surgeon at Yuehuei An Orthopaedics PC and Northwell Health Orthopaedics Institute since 2018 and 2017, respectively, and has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Northwell Health since September 2011. An's previous experience includes serving as Director and Associate Professor at the MUSC Orthopaedic Research Laboratory from 2002 to 2006, after initially joining in a co-Director and Assistant Professor capacity. An's medical education includes completing an Orthopaedic Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2006 to 2011, a Post-Doc Fellowship in Orthopaedic Research from 1991 to 1993, a Hand Surgery Fellowship at Sydney Hospital in 1990, and degrees in Medicine from various institutions, culminating in a Bachelor of Medicine from Harbin Medical University in 1983.
