Batsal Devkota

Batsal Devkota, PhD, is the Director of Bioinformatics at Northwell Health and has held various positions in bioinformatics throughout their career. They co-founded Kacaaki in 2020 and have served as the Chief Operating Officer at mDev TechSolutions Pvt. Ltd. from 2013 to 2020. Batsal's extensive experience includes roles as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Illumina, as well as earlier positions in research and database curation. They earned their PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007.
