Fred Lado

Fred Lado is the Director of Epilepsy at Northwell Health Central and Eastern Regions, where they have been responsible for developing epilepsy care and patient services since 2017. They previously served as a Professor and Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2014 to 2017, and were the Chief of Service for Neurology at Montefiore Health System from 2009 to 2017. Fred’s academic background includes an A.B. in Physics from Cornell University, an M.A. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, an MD in Medicine from New York Medicine Jobs, and a PhD in Physiology from NYU Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Sackler Institute. Their research focuses on utilizing non-invasive methods like MRI, PET, and EEG to better understand seizure origins in the brain.
