Heiman

Howard Heiman is currently the Director of Neonatal Transport at Northwell Health, a role that involves overseeing the Neonatal Service Line for a system with over 40,000 births annually. They have been an integral part of the Sky Health air ambulance system since 2014 and serve as a senior attending clinician and educator at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Previously, Howard worked as a Neonatologist at the San Antonio Military Pediatric Center from 1987 to 2002 and held the position of Associate Director at Northwell Health, focusing on neonatal transport and resuscitation from 2007 to 2015. They earned an MD from Uniformed Services University and a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
