Jan Dauer

Jan Dauer is the Associate Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at North Shore LIJ Health System, where they have been contributing since 2012. Previously, Jan served as a Physician and Director of Emergency Medicine Medical Education at Plainview Hospital from 2004 to 2015, and as an Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 1989 to 2004. They began their medical career at Cedars-Sinai, working as an Attending Physician in the Medical Intensive Care Unit from 1988 to 1991. Jan completed their Doctor of Medicine degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and furthered their education with residencies in Internal Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
