Jay Enden, MD MSHPM FACP, is an experienced physician executive with a notable history in hospital turnaround, clinical integration, and quality improvement. They practiced pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine for 17 years and contributed to clinical research as an associate medical director in a managed care organization. From 2006 to 2016, Jay served as Medical Director for Southside Hospital, leading its transformation into a successful tertiary care facility, now known as South Shore University Hospital. Since 2016, they have held the position of Eastern Region Medical Director for Northwell and are set to transition to Vice President of Quality and Medical Affairs in July 2025. Jay actively participates on the board of the Family Service League and values collaboration with community organizations, receiving several awards for their contributions to healthcare.
