Joan O'Rourke

Joan O'Rourke currently serves as the Associate Executive Director at Northwell Health and as Adjunct Faculty at Sacred Heart University, both of which began in September 2020. Additionally, Joan held the position of Adjunct Professor at St. Francis College from December 2020 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Perioperative Services at CarePoint Health System from June 2016 to September 2020 and as System Director of Perioperative Services. Joan also worked as Director of Patient Care Services at Northwell Health from December 2011 to June 2016. Joan O'Rourke earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus on Executive Leadership from Sacred Heart University and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from St. Joseph's University New York.
