Luis Cabrera

Luis Cabrera is an Internal Medicine Physician currently employed at Northwell Health since July 2024. Previously, Luis completed a Medical Residency as a PGY-3 at St. John's Episcopal Hospital from June 2021 to July 2024 and served as a House Physician at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center from December 2020 to May 2021. Luis has also contributed as an ACLS, PALS, and BLS Instructor at HeartStartNY and completed a medical internship at Cardiology Unlimited in 2019. In addition, Luis has experience in education, having worked as a Teacher of Biology at the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic from September 2015 to June 2018, where a team was managed and curricula planned. Furthermore, Luis has extensive clinical experience as a Medical Doctor in emergency and family medicine at Mispas Hospital Mario Fernandez Mena and Servicios Medicos Externos Bavaro from 2009 to 2018. Luis holds a Doctor in Medicine degree from Universidad Catolica Nordestana, earned between 2000 and 2006.
