Mark L. Smith

Mark L. Smith, MD, is a prominent Professor and System Vice-Chair in the Department of Surgery at Northwell Health System, specializing in plastic surgery and program development. They have held various leadership roles within Northwell Health, including Director of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Currently, Dr. Smith serves as the Executive Director at the Friedman Center for Breast and Lymphatic Surgery and continues their academic involvement as a Professor of Surgery at both the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
