Mark Talamini

Mark Talamini currently serves as Vice President of Surgical Clinical Operations and Program Development at Northwell Health since April 2021. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Surgeon In Chief at Stony Brook Medicine from October 2014 to April 2021. Mark's extensive experience in surgical leadership includes serving as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at UC San Diego from March 2005 to September 2013 and as Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from July 1988 to March 2005. Mark Talamini holds a Medical Doctor degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration in Management in Medicine from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
