Sindee Weiss

Sindee Weiss, MD MSEd FACP, is the Medical Director of the Nancy and Neal S. Kaplan Palliative and Supportive Care Unit at Northwell Health, where they also serve as an Attending Physician in Critical Care and Palliative and Hospice Medicine. With extensive experience in critical care, Sindee has held various roles in emergency medicine and has been involved in medical education as an Assistant Professor at Hofstra School of Medicine. They are passionate about fostering effective communication and interprofessional teamwork, and currently lead the Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Zucker-Northwell School of Medicine. Outside of their professional pursuits, Sindee enjoys activities such as gardening, cycling, and traveling, while also being a proud parent of three adult children.
