Timothy Sullivan has extensive experience in the field of psychiatry, holding significant leadership roles at various healthcare institutions. From December 1994 to February 2011, Timothy served as Service Chief for Services for the Seriously Mentally Ill at Saint Joseph's Medical Center/St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester Division. Following this, Timothy was Vice Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Director of Postgraduate Education at Staten Island University Hospital from March 2011 to July 2018, before taking on the role of Chair at Northwell Health at Staten Island University Hospital until November 2024. Currently, Timothy is the Physician-in-Charge at Zucker Hillside Hospital within Northwell Health. Additionally, Timothy earned the title of Distinguished Life Fellow with the American Psychiatric Association from 1985 to 2016. Timothy holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Dartmouth Medical School, completed between 1974 and 1977.
