Tylis Chang

Tylis Chang is currently the Chief Medical Information Officer and Vice-Chair of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Northwell Health, where they have been instrumental in advancing pathology informatics since 2014. Tylis previously served as an Associate Professor of Pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2010 to 2014 and as Director of Clinical Laboratories at Montefiore Medical Center from 2003 to 2014. They began their career in academia as an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center and have held various leadership roles in pathology and laboratory medicine throughout their career. Tylis earned their MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed a residency in Clinical Pathology at the University of Pennsylvania.
