Umar Rashid

Umar Rashid, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is the Director of the Cath Lab at Northern Westchester Hospital and an Interventional Cardiologist at Lenox Hill Hospital. They serve as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Umar's medical journey includes research assistant positions at the University of Virginia and the University of Rhode Island, and they completed their residency at the Cleveland Clinic. They have been practicing as an Interventional Cardiologist at Northwell Health since 2020, specializing in complex coronary artery disease interventions and acute MI management.
