Veronica Petersen

Veronica Petersen, DNP RN, CAPA, possesses extensive experience in perioperative services, having served as Associate Executive Director and later as Assistant Vice President at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. This role followed a long tenure at Northwell Health, resulting in a retirement after 42 years of service, where Petersen also contributed as a volunteer in the hospice care network. Previous positions include roles as a certified CHF RN, intensive home care, and infusion RN, as well as staff and administrative roles in outpatient and inpatient surgical settings. Educational accomplishments include a BSN from Adelphi University, an MSN in Education from Molloy College, and a DNP in Health Care: Organizational Leadership from Chamberlain University, along with a teaching role at Adelphi University's School of Nursing and Public Health.
