Wayne Tam currently serves as the Senior Director in the Division of Hematopathology at Northwell Health since January 2023, and previously held the position of Director of Molecular Hematopathology. Before joining Northwell Health, Wayne Tam was a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and an Attending Hematopathologist at Weill Cornell Medicine from July 2017 to January 2023. Wayne Tam earned an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Medicine and Molecular Biology from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University between 1989 and 1996, and a B.A. in Natural Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University from 1985 to 1988.
