Wendy Watkins

Wendy Watkins has extensive work experience in the field of operations coordination and release and request management. Wendy has held various roles at different companies throughout their career. Starting in 2008, Wendy worked at Nordstrom where they served as an Operations Analyst II, Senior Release Technician - Lead, and Manager IT - Release and Request Management. In these positions, they were responsible for scheduling production batch jobs, deploying code, and ensuring work accuracy and adherence to standards. Wendy also led teams, collaborated with business partners, and enforced best practices for change management. In 2017, Wendy joined Northwest Administrators, Inc as an Operations Coordinator, where they support ActiveBatch scheduling environments and provides 24/7 on-call support. Wendy'sattention to detail is crucial in preventing negative impacts for the company's members. Wendy creates, maintains, and coordinates various schedules and check sheets to enable successful batch processing execution by computer operators.

Wendy Watkins' education history includes various programs and certifications. In 2015, they participated in the Nordstrom 21st Century Leadership Program, Cohort #2, where they studied Technology Leadership. That same year, they also attended the Nordstrom Innovation Bootcamp, Cohort #4, focusing on Innovation. In 2014, Wendy was part of the Nordstrom Technology Trailblazers, Cohort #2, specializing in areas such as Innovation, Change, and Bias Toward Action.

Before their involvement with Nordstrom, Wendy attended the OnePeople Foundation from 2006 to 2012, where they studied Native American Culture and Traditional Healing. In 2007, they became a Certified Craniosacral Therapist, CCST, through Cranial Rhythms LLC. Additionally, in 2006, they obtained a license as a Massage Practitioner in Washington State, LMP, from Cortiva Institute-Seattle, with a focus on Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage.

Furthermore, Wendy pursued education in Digital Audio Engineering at Shoreline Community College from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended North Seattle College in 2002, where they pursued general education studies.

In terms of certifications, Wendy became ITIL Foundation Certified in April 2015 through EXIN.
