I began with NACS in 2007 after graduating from Ball State University with a bachelor’s in special education and a minor in educational psychology. I started my teaching career at Carroll Middle School in our applied skills program, and later transitioned to district Autism & Behavior Consultant. I received my master’s in special education and educational leadership in 2019. I became the Assistant Director of Special Education in 2021, and later the Executive Director in 2022. I have licenses to teach students with mild disabilities K-6, intense disabilities K-12, and supervise special education programs administratively Preschool-12th grade. My husband is a teacher at NACS, also working at Carroll Middle School and Perry Hill Elementary. We have 3 daughters, including twins, and an awesome English Mastiff pup named Tink.
