Kevin Walker

Kevin Walker currently serves as the President and CEO of the Northwest Area Foundation, a position held since May 2008. Prior to this role, Kevin worked at the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation from October 1995 to May 2008, where responsibilities progressed from Assistant to the President & Associate Program Officer to Associate Vice President - Programs. Earlier experience includes serving as Grants Coordinator for the City of Ypsilanti from October 1994 to October 1995 and Associate Director at Food Gatherers from June 1990 to October 1994. Kevin holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Poetry from the University of Michigan (1988-1990) and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Harvard University (1982-1987).
