Katie Connolly possesses extensive experience in human resources and administration, currently serving as a Benefits & Payroll Specialist and Human Resources Administrator at Northwest Community Bank since August 2019. Prior to this role, Katie held the position of Office Manager at Santoro's Laundry from January 2014 to January 2019. Earlier in their career, Katie worked as a Customer Relations Manager and Retail Sales Manager at ACTEX Publications/Mad River Books from October 2004 to October 2008. Katie Connolly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Connecticut.

Different from a commercial bank with stockholders, community leaders founded Winsted Savings Bank in 1860. In 1875, local business leaders founded Mechanics Savings Bank of Winsted (later Northwest Bank for Savings). Both banks supported the development of Winsted, CT and surrounding towns through savings, loans and personal relationships with their customers. They helped individuals, families, businesses and communities—and later met the need for a branch network and expanded services. In 1996, the two banks merged into Northwest Community Bank.
