Moe Chislum is an experienced banking professional currently serving as AVP and Branch Manager at Northwest Community Bank since November 2022. Prior to this role, Moe worked as a Relationship Banker at M&T Bank from August 2022 to April 2023 and spent nearly a decade at People's United Bank, N.A. as a Sales and Service Supervisor until April 2023. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Sales Associate at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. from November 2012 to February 2015. Moe Chislum holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.
Northwest Community Bank
Different from a commercial bank with stockholders, community leaders founded Winsted Savings Bank in 1860. In 1875, local business leaders founded Mechanics Savings Bank of Winsted (later Northwest Bank for Savings). Both banks supported the development of Winsted, CT and surrounding towns through savings, loans and personal relationships with their customers. They helped individuals, families, businesses and communities—and later met the need for a branch network and expanded services. In 1996, the two banks merged into Northwest Community Bank.
