Distinguished Professional Learning Specialist at NCCE (Northwest Council for Computer Education)

Tammy Brecht Dunbar, M.Ed., STEM, is a distinguished professional learning specialist at the Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE) since July 2015, known for presenting and leading keynotes across the United States and hosting the monthly podcast "Live from NCCE!" Previously, Tammy served as a teacher in the Manteca Unified School District from September 2001 to May 2024, where remarkable achievements included being the ISTE 2023 Ignite Main Stage Speaker, closing keynote at the NCCE Trainer Summit 2022, and receiving the 2016 California Woman of the Year award. Tammy has also contributed as a technology instructor at the Teachers College of San Joaquin and taught in the Escalon Unified School District. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English/Communications from the University of the Pacific and a Master of Education in STEM from the Teachers College of San Joaquin, along with a California Teaching Credential.
