Emily Bucher

Emily Bucher is an experienced optometrist with a focus on medical eye care and surgical co-management. Currently serving at Northwest Eye Surgeons since August 2018, Emily's previous roles include managing primary care and ocular disease at a private practice, along with extensive residency training at Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial Medical Center and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, where skills in medical management and surgical co-management were developed. Early experience at the Veterans Association Medical Center involved comprehensive management of complex ocular diseases and participation in a blind rehabilitation program. Emily holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science from Loyola Marymount University’s Frank R. Seaver College of Engineering.
