Emily Freeman

Emily Freeman is an experienced optometric physician currently practicing at Northwest Eye Surgeons since July 2019, specializing in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, as well as providing pre- and post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma surgeries. Previous roles include optometric residency at Jonathan M. Wainwright VA Medical Center, where complex ocular diseases were managed, and externships at Perry Point VA Medical Center and NY Vision Group, focusing on geriatric populations and advanced optometric practice. Emily Freeman holds a Doctor of Optometry and a Master of Science from the State University of New York College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Lewis & Clark College, complemented by extensive tutoring and teaching experiences throughout educational pursuits.
