Planning and Development

The Planning and Development team at the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission focuses on strategic regional planning, land use development, and community enhancement initiatives. Utilizing GIS technology and data analysis, the team collaborates with local governments and stakeholders to create sustainable growth strategies and improve quality of life across the 15 counties and 49 municipalities they serve. Additionally, they address aging services through the Area Agency on Aging to ensure comprehensive support for all demographics.
