Laurel Burnham has extensive experience in microbiology, infection prevention, and educational roles within healthcare and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Infection Prevention at Northwest Healthcare Tucson since May 2016, Laurel oversees the Microbiology department and performs microbiology testing for the entire healthcare system. Additionally, Laurel has been an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Microbiology at Pima Community College since August 2013.
