Cecilia Gobin

Conservation Policy Analyst at Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission

Cecilia Gobin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in conservation policy and tribal governance. Currently serving as a Conservation Policy Analyst at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission since March 2013, Cecilia has also held the position of Puget Sound Policy Analyst. Previously, Cecilia was an elected Planning Commissioner for the Tulalip Tribes from October 2017 to November 2020, serving as chairman for two years and vice chairman for one year. From 2012 to 2015, Cecilia acted as a Gaming Commissioner for the Tulalip Tribes Gaming Commission, focusing on regulatory authority related to tribal gaming operations. Earlier roles include working as a Collections Assistant at the Hibulb Cultural Center and a legislative intern in the U.S. House of Representatives. Cecilia holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in American Indian/Native American Studies and Archaeology & Anthropology from the University of Washington.
