Executive Director Of Safety And Security at Northwest ISD

Michael Conklin has extensive work experience in the field of safety and security. Michael started their career as a Police Officer at the City of Roanoke, TX in 1999 and worked there until 2001. Following that, they joined the Town Of Trophy Club in 2001 and served as a Police Officer and Juvenile Investigator until 2020. During their time there, they were involved in investigating criminal cases, specializing in juvenile cases, and working on digital forensics and computer crimes. Michael also conducted patrol duties and worked with the Secret Service on undercover online solicitation cases. Additionally, they were a certified Safety Inspector and worked with students in the local school district. Currently, Michael is employed at Northwest ISD, where they have held various roles since 2008. Michael started as a Security Coordinator and later became the Director of Safety and Security. Michael is currently serving as the Executive Director of Safety and Security.

Michael Conklin obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Law Enforcement from Rio Salado College, from 2001 to 2003. Before that, they received a Certification in Law Enforcement from the University of North Texas, from 1998 to 1999. In their earlier years, they completed their high school education at Denton High School, where they pursued General Studies with a focus on DECA, from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they obtained a Master Peace Officer Certification from TCOLE in 2011.
