Chris Matala

Chris Matala has extensive work experience in supply chain, logistics, and purchasing management. Chris started as a Manager of Operations and Special Projects for Nutrition Services at MultiCare Health System in 2002. Chris then worked as the Regional Director of Nutrition Services at Thomas Cuisine Management/Franciscan Health System in 2005. In 2007, they briefly served as an Agent/Owner at Farmers Insurance Group. From 2009 to 2013, Chris was the Purchasing Manager at Harrison Medical Center, responsible for procurement operations and negotiating contracts. Chris then became the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics at Island Hospital from 2013 to 2016. Currently, Chris is the Director of Supply Chain at Northwest Kidney Centers since 2017.

Chris Matala attended Central Washington University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition/Food Service Management. From 2001 to 2012, they studied at St. Martins University, where they pursued an MBA. In 2013, Chris obtained a certification as a Certified Materials & Resource Professional from the American Hospital Association.
