Michael Kellogg

Michael Kellogg has a diverse work experience history. Michael is currently working as the Senior Director of Facilities Management & Planning at Northwest Kidney Centers since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Design and Construction at Virginia Mason Medical Center from August 2013 to April 2022. Michael also worked as a Consultant at Kellogg Project Services, LLC in May 2013, providing project management and facilities management services for the biotechnology industry. From July 2010 to February 2013, they were the Director of Facilities & Engineering at Dendreon Corporation, where they managed capital projects and facilities operations. Before that, they worked as the Director of Facilities Operations at Trubion Pharmaceuticals from May 2007 to July 2010, overseeing all aspects of facilities operations. Michael also worked at ICOS Corporation in various roles from June 1998 to May 2007, including Sr Engineer, Systems & Projects, Engineering Projects Manager, and Manager, Plant Engineering & Technical Maintenance. Additionally, they have worked as a Consulting Engineer at Alpharma Northwest, a Project Engineer at Redhook Ale Brewery, and a Regional Engineer at Tuchenhagen North America. Michael started their career in the microbrewing industry as an Apprentice Brewer and Project Engineer at multiple companies in the US and Germany from June 1989 to November 1991.

Michael Kellogg obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Later, in 2006-2007, they pursued a Certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington. Along with their formal education, they acquired additional certifications such as the Building Operator's Certification - Level 1 from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council in April 2006 and a Non-Residential Maintenance Electrician's License (EL07) from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries in 2003.
