Andrea Vanni is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in content creation, marketing, and photography. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children since April 2018, Andrea previously held positions as Regional Curator at Holland America Line and Marketing & Communications Coordinator at the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau. Andrea co-created and managed a fashion blog, A.M. REFRESH, and developed a travel-focused platform, World Walk About, which garnered significant recognition and traffic. A graduate of the University of Washington with both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in communication and journalism, Andrea has also contributed to various publications as a freelance writer and worked in marketing roles for diverse organizations.

Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children
Using Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) and oral communication we prepare deaf and hard-of-hearing children to be self-confident, articulate and academically-competitive learners, and engaged community members. Since our inception in 1982, NWSDHH has grown to partner with more than 20 school districts, offers a range of services for children ages birth through middle school, and we now serve 500 Western Washington families annually. Thanks to our growing community of donors and support from local school districts, we are able to achieve remarkable outcomes while keeping our one-of-a-kind programs within reach of all families who might benefit.
