Jessica Tanski is a collaborative coordinator and CTRS at Northwest Special Recreation Association. Previously, Jessica worked as a community day service instructor at Misericordia Heart of Mercy and as a program counselor and aquatics program specialist at Timber Point Outdoor Center. Jessica also has experience as a lifeguard at Adler's Pool Centre and as a lead day camp counselor at SRACLC. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation & Park Administration, Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Illinois State University.

NWSRA exists to provide outstanding opportunities through recreation for children and adults with disabilities. NWSRA strives for each participant to function at his/her highest level of ability. Benefits of participation include increased socialization and community awareness, development of new leisure skills, increased physical and emotional well being, and increased self esteem, all in a fun, safe and structured recreation environment. 17 park districts that are served through NWSRA include: Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mt. Prospect, Palatine, Prospect Heights, River Trails, Rolling Meadows, Salt Creek, Schaumburg, South Barrington, Streamwood and Wheeling.
